Trust Christ as Savior
The Three D Gospel Presentation
Dilemma: Why does humanity need the Gospel?
- Isaiah 64:6 (NASB95) 6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
- Romans 3:10 (NASB95) 10 as it is written, “THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;
- Romans 3:23 (NASB95) 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Question 1: Do you agree that you are a sinner and not qualified for Heaven? Do you understand that the penalty for sin is death, separating us from God, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus?
Deliverance: What did Christ do to deliver humanity from eternal hell?
- Acts 4:12 (NASB95) 12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
- John 14:6 (NASB95) 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
- 1 John 2:2 (NASB): “And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.”
Question 2: Do you agree that Christ death on the Cross is the only solution/payment for sin?
Decision: What does an individual need to do for eternal life in Christ
- John 1:12 (NASB95) 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
- John 3:36 (NASB95) 36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
- John 6:37 (NASB95) 37 “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.
Question 3: Are you ready to place your full trust/exclusive trust in Christ alone for eternal life/salvation apart from good works, good needs, community service, remaining crime-free, living better than others, and anything else that contribute to salvation/eternal life? Will you call upon the name of the Lord and ask for salvation?
