Destiny Church's Scholarship

We believe that education is very important, that’s why we’ve started a scholarship to help a few diligent students who have a financial need. Please complete the application and any other relevant items below to be considered.

Background
Destiny Church will provide, to qualified applicants, a scholarship award for graduating high
school seniors and/or students currently enrolled full-time (based upon 12 credit hours or more)
in either a two-year or four-year accredited college working toward their first degree or
certificate program. They may continue to apply as long as they are working on their first
undergraduate degree or certificate program.

Qualifications

  • Applicant (or your parent(s) if you’re applying as, or originally applied as, high school
    senior) must be a member of Destiny Church who has completed Fast Track 101, 201,
    301 and 401.

  • Currently involved in Destiny Journey Youth Youth/Young Adult programs or a collegiate ministry near your university. (Ministry involvement will be verified by Ministry Coordinator.)

You are NOT eligible for this scholarship if you are currently on Academic Suspension or pursuing a second degree.


Requirements for New Applicants

  • A complete scholarship application

  • An unofficial high school transcript (for graduating seniors) or college transcript (for continuing students)

  • If you are awarded a scholarship, you may be required to verify:
    • Proof of enrollment is required for continuing students
    • Photo attached to form
  • Verification of current ministry involvement

  • One letter of recommendation

Requirements for Renewing Applicants

  • A complete scholarship application

  • An unofficial college transcript (for continuing students)

  • If you are awarded a scholarship, you may be required to verify:
    • Proof of enrollment is required for continuing students
    • Photo attached to form

  • Verification of current ministry involvement (it can be your local church or collegiate ministry)

DO NOT include your first or last name or any other identification information on your
application materials outside of the personal information section. Doing so could result in
disqualifying your application.

Applications must be received at Destiny Church by Friday, April 1st at 5 p.m. CST. Late
or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted. Faxed or emailed documents will NOT be
accepted. Must be submitted through the form provided. Application and recommendation
letters must be typed.
