One of the greatest experiences in life is to make a public declaration of your faith in Christ through baptism. While baptism is a critical step in the Christian experience, it does not secure your salvation. It is an indication of what has already happened. It is like receiving your birth certificate. Your birth certificate does not make you a person but merely indicates or shows that your birth has taken place. In the same way, baptism does not make you a Christian; it indicates that your new birth in Christ has already taken place.

Our belief about salvation is that salvation is through Christ and Christ alone. Baptism is a sign of the Christian faith—not source. We offer Baptism Orientations on a weekly basis. The goal of our Baptism Orientation is not to determine who is a believer and who is not; but rather, it is to gauge a clear understanding of salvation and baptism.

If you are able to think through your belief in Christ for salvation and can articulate your faith in Christ, then you will be given a green light for baptism. We will then coordinate a time for you to be baptized during one of our regularly scheduled services.

If you would like to be contacted for our next Baptism Orientation please complete the form below so that we can get the process started. We ask that you not communicate any dates to family, friends, and co-workers until we have given the thumbs up.
